Maker Journal April 2025

April holds a special meaning for me. After diligently working on my freelance projects since the beginning of 2025, I chose to take a break to avoid burnout. It's one of the best decisions I've made this year, as it prevented a complete breakdown from the demanding projects.

During my trip to Japan, I continued my #30DaysOf4oVisuals campaign on social media, creating one AI-generated image daily. I also experimented with vibe coding using various tools to learn how to develop Apps with AI, reminiscent of the no-code days but more advanced.

A highlight of April was OpenAI's release of the Image Model API for generating AI images, following a showcase of the diverse types of images you can create with Chatgpt. Additionally, I completed a prototype tool that generates AI images over the weekend.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed April.
