It's pretty common to see Facebook Page having contests that need you to like the pages and tag to a few friends. If you are holding games like this, how are you going to choose the winner?
Let me teach you how you can do it with Integormat.
- First, you select your Facebook Connection in Integormat, this only work if you are the Facebook Page owner, you need that right to pull comments. One of the more natural ways is pick up the parent comments, most of the time comments with parent id are more like a reply in the thread, the top-level comments are those who try to join the contents. Last, don't forget it only allow you to put maximum 500 records, so if your games are overwhelming, you might need to take a few rounds to pull all data.
2. Setup a variable that generate a random number generator, this help to generate a random number for each records and we can decides the highest number or the lowest number to become the winner
3. Output the comments that you pull from Facebook and the variable that you just generated and output into Google Sheet. Remember the variable need to export as well.
4. Once you have all records on Google Sheet, you can sort all the records with the generated variable. Besides that all comment data is showing there, you might want to choose the best comment if have too many similar highest/lowest number record
This is how I select the winner from my Facebook Page comments recently. I hope this can help if you need a solution like this.
